Physiotherapist Casual – Rehab Services
Responsibilities:
The physiotherapist will work on the inpatient medical, surgical, complex continuing care or rehab units based on the need for coverage. The therapist will work closely with an interprofessional team consisting of an occupational therapist and an OTA/PTA. The therapist will delegate activities as per the regulatory obligations.
Qualifications:
Halton Healthcare Services is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; team players; effective communicators; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible.
- B.Sc.PT or MSc PT
- Licensed with the College of Physiotherapy
- Minimum of one year experience working in acute in-patient services
- Demonstrated experience working in an medical and surgical environment required
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members
- Physically able to manage a moderately heavy job
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Satisfactory attendance and employment record
