About the job:
The receptionist position is a critical position for the business. It’s the first impression for many of our clients. You will be running the front desk, and will be responsible for ensuring the patients are 100% satisfied with their interactions with you. You will also assist the therapists as needed. The position is full time (30-35 hours per week) position – but the hours have some flexibility to them. Shifts will either start at 7am or end at 7pm – the candidate should be able to work these types of hours. Saturday from 8am – 1pm will also be required.

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities:
– assisting clients in booking appointments, paying for treatment, and answering general questions
– assisting therapists in various tasks
– answering a multi-line phone system
– managing staff schedules
– liasing with 3rd parties such as ICBC and WorkSafe
– ensuring any 3rd party requests are dealt with and followed up on
– treatment room cleaning/prep
– laundry
– and other various jobs to help the clinic run smoothly
Qualifications and Skills
Who we’re looking for:
The successful candidate is friendly, outgoing, shows strong initiative, and has outstanding work ethic. The candidate is also highly proactive, creative, and has superior organizational and communication skills. The candidate must display skills in problem solving and an ability to work independently with no direct supervision at times. Most critically, the candidate must understand the importance of customer service and be able to execute it at a high level (you must love being around people!). In addition, having experience with Jane clinic software is a definite plus, but not required (although you must have a demonstrable knack for picking up new software systems). Additional languages such as Mandarin, Hindi or Punjabi is an asset.
