Health Care Assistant Instructor – Campbell River / Courtenay

Due to an increase in student numbers we’re in need of additional instructors in our

Health Care Assistant (HCA) Program

(Campbell River & Courtenay)

We’re looking for nurses to instruct our Health Care Assistant (HCA) program in our Campbell River and Courtenay campuses.

We have both part-time and full-time availability, in classroom and clinical settings. With various teaching schedules (i.e. days/evenings) there’s sure to be something that would suit you.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have:

  • Current full registration with the CLPNBC, CRNBC, or CRPNBC
  • Ability to teach adult learners (mentoring / instructing)
  • Two or more years of full-time nursing experience
  • One year = 1400 hours so must have 2800 hours of nursing experience
  • Nursing experience must include working with older adults with complex health needs
  • Nursing experience must include experience or orientation in home support and multi-level care
