The Manager, Rehabilitation Services is a key leadership role within North Zone Operations, reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations Area 6, managing the Rehabilitation Services departments of Slave Lake, McLennan, Wabasca and High Prairie. Location of office is negotiable within area 6 . This position is responsible and accountable for providing direction, leadership and organization over the rehabilitation services within Area 6. This position is responsible and accountable for making key decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for establishing and contributing to the achievement of the goals of rehabilitation services. The Manager, Rehabilitation Services Area 6 participates in budget planning, implementation and maintaining standards of practice, hiring, supervising and evaluating professional and support staff and implementation changes to structure, processes and procedures in order to achieve improved outcomes in patient satisfaction, quality of care and resource utilization. The Manager Rehabilitation Services Area 6 will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide leadership to Rehabilitation Services. The Manager, Rehabilitation Services Area 6 is responsible for collaboration and joint planning with local community stakeholders and partners (internal and external) around local services agreements and clinical service agreements. The Manager, Rehabilitation Services Area 6 is responsible for Initiating and managing local services agreements and clinical services contracts.

Required Qualifications:A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in a rehabilitation discipline (OT, PT, Social Worker) plus appropriate licences and designations as required. A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a health management role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. The incumbent must demonstrate a clear pattern of professional and personal development. Willing to relocate in the North.
