The Back Institute (TBI Health) is an integrated health service with the goal of enabling injured New Zealanders to live better lives. At TBI Health you will work in a vibrant, interdisciplinary setting alongside Orthopaedic Surgeons, Occupational and Vocational Therapists, Exercise Therapists and Psychologists. TBI Health has five clinics in the Wellington region and three in the Auckland region. All clinics are computerised and have fully equipped rehabilitation gyms. TBI Health is accredited with HDANZ and holds rehabilitation contracts with ACC, third party insurers and private employer groups.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessment and treatment of mechanical neck and back pain utilising internationally recognised methodology.
  • Assessment and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal and sports related conditions.What we are looking for:

    This is a varied and challenging role. The ideal candidate will have an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, pain management, and exercise based rehabilitation, along with a strong work ethic and excellent organisation and communication skills. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional environment delivering a high quality service to our clients.

    The current role is full time. The details around specific hours can be discussed further with prospective candidates. The role is based at our Ellerslie clinic. On occasion, you may need to cover staff absence at an alternative clinic. Post-graduate qualifications are preferred but not essential. Experience with ACC SAW and FRP contracts is desirable.
