Functional Responsibilities include:
* Provide professional opinions on all medical cases assigned including return-to-work coordination, medical treatment plan management, disability and causation analysis
* Assess medical claims in compliance with the terms and conditions of the relevant insurance Policy
* Liaise with medical professionals including doctors, nurses, clinics and hospitals
* Conduct assessment and medical investigation
* Conduct telephonic, field-based, medical, vocational and catastrophic case management
* Provide Pre-injury management advice and development plan
* Handle high volume of daily inquiries
* Maintain good relationships with Brokers, Agents and Client by regular visits and contacts
* Liaise with our service providers to ensure a timely and cost effective service
* Independently conduct seminars on occupational health and Employees’ Compensation
* Provide medical training to all lines in the Claims department
* Active participation in investigation and direct settlement negotiations
* Participate in Ad hoc Claims projects
Position Requirements
Knowledge and experience levels include:
* Physiotherapist / Occupational Therapist / Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse / Social Worker / Medical Practitioner
* At least 3 years experience in medical case or injury management
* Computer literate
* Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
* Customer-oriented and effective communication skills
* Creative and innovative mindset
* Reliable and a team player
* Experience in liability investigation / negotiation / mediation would be an advantage
* Candidates with less qualification or experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
