At Advanced Pain Relief we use advancements in technology and functional applications, not drugs or surgery to reduce and eliminate pain. We are not opposed to the use of drugs and surgery as a last resort, but we have found that with the use of open:minded doctoring, combined with applications of technology leads to an improved first line approach in dealing with common and uncommon pain problems. We believe that every patient is different and every presenting complaint should be evaluated and treated on a per case basis.
Role Overview:
As a Physiotherapist you will teach our patients how to perform special blueprint exercises which can help strengthen and correct the irregularities in their body which may be contributing to; or causing pain. You will review these corrective exercises to ensure patients can actually perform them in the comfort of their home to help improve the effectiveness of your total care and pain relief or wellness plan. You will be instrumental in the reset of the abnormal adopted movement patterns to lead to better long term pain relief and wellness for your patients. You will use up to date Physiotherapy techniques and laser therapy to support the recovery of our patients
Requirements:
License to practice with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario required Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Minimum of 1 year experience Own transportation Community experience an asset Commitment to service excellence including continuing education and continuous quality improvement Demonstrated understanding and ability to integrate
Client:
centered care into clinical practice Ability to function within an interdisciplinary team
Working Conditions:
