• Relevant experience in home management and caring for people, preferably caring for chronically ill or elderly clients
• Home Care Aide/Home Support Worker certification is preferred
• Experience working in long term care OR experience providing personal care
• Experience working with various cultural backgrounds

• Strong critical thinking and decision making skills
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to respect confidentiality
• Ability to work independently as well as within team
• Strong client focus including a commitment to promote quality of life, dignity and respect
