The physiotherapy department is currently seeking a casual Physiotherapist to join their team.
As an integral member of this inter-professional team the Physiotherapist will administer both standardized and non-standardized assessments, develop goals and treatment plans, implement interventions, evaluate progress and assist with discharge planning for the patient’s transition from hospital back into the community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy, or equivalent
– Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
– Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
– Recent experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation preferred
– Knowledge of evidence-based clinical practice and care pathways
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and manage caseload volumes
– Displays strong decision making and problem solving abilities
