About LifeMark Health Centre

LifeMark Health Centre provides physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, naturopathy, vestibular therapy, exercise therapy, chiropractic treatments, occupational therapy, clinical counselling and acupuncture and holistic nutrition services in downtown Vancouver. Our team members include physicians, psychologists, clinical counsellors, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, pharmacological consultants, neuropsychologists, psychometrist, kinesiologists and vestibular therapists.

Over 50 staff members practice at LifeMark Health Centre Vancouver. The 16,000 square foot clinic houses an outpatient clinic offering a holistic array of services. The clinic also has expertise in treating clients with concussion and other acquired brain injuries, complex orthopedic injuries and chronic and persistent pain. Clinicians who work with these populations are experts in their respective fields and knowledgeable in addressing the unique and complicated challenges that can exist. The intricacies of these conditions often require multidisciplinary teams that engage clients from a holistic perspective.

Our clinic is located in Downtown Vancouver, one block from Rogers Arena and across the street from International Village and Tinseltown Theatre. It sits on the second floor directly on top of T&T Supermarket. The clinic is steps away from Stadium Skytrain Station and 1 block from major bus stops. Parking is offered on the street or in one of 3 lots. 2 hours of free parking is available.

The Individual 

We are seeking a full time physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary Head Injury Team  to provide a comprehensive individualized evaluation of the cognitive, physical, interpersonal, and vocational functioning of an Injured Worker.

Successful candidates will have a …

• Bachelors or Masters prepared in Physiotherapy
• Registration with College of Physiotherapists of B.C.
• Have two years minimum experience working with patients who have concussions or mild brain injuries; or worked with clients that may have work related injuries or other traumatic injuries (mandatory)
• Strong leadership skills or experienced as a Senior PT

The Role
• Performing clinical assessments, setting goals and providing treatment plans for clients
• Initiating appropriate treatment intervention based on clinical assessment
• Directing treatment of patients with chronic pain
• Providing ongoing evaluation of client progress
• Administering and collecting outcome measurement information
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Communicating to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
