Physiotherapy Consultant
As a Physiotherapy Consultant, you will provide internal case managers with information about physiotherapy service related questions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct select claim reviews regarding motor vehicle related injuries, and direct consultations with treating practitioners.
- Provide opinions related to injury categories as agreed in the service level agreement.
- Participate in department meetings as required.
- Be available approximately 20 to 30 hours per month.
Education
- University degree in Physiotherapy.
Experience
- Three to five years of experience working with patients who have experienced traumatic injuries.
Special Skills
- Ability to work in a web-based environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be solution-oriented.
- Knowledge of best practices in treatment and rehabilitation.
- Good keyboarding skills.
- Qualified and licensed to practice physiotherapy in the province of Manitoba and is a member in good standing with their regulatory body.
