We are currently seeking a Business Development Associate to be responsible for providing ongoing BD support, sales and promotion of our programs and services under the Viewpoint brand. Information regarding Viewpoint is available at www.vp-group.ca .

Key areas of responsibilities will include:

  • Research, analysis, sourcing, identification and qualification of leads
  • Maintaining and growing the book of business with key customers
  • Communication/contact with prospects regarding  services
  • Business development events and marketing initiatives
  • Administration and organization of business development activities
  • Maintenance and administration of the opportunity pipeline
  • Assessment of new potential partnerships, markets, and competitors
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials

Preferred qualifications & experience:

  • Post-Secondary education in Business, Marketing, or another relevant degree or diploma, or equivalent experience obtained through professional accomplishments
  • 5-10 years experience in a business development or account management role is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Professional demeanour and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of time management & the ability to prioritize
  • Driven and motivated, tenacious and resilient
  • Medical-legal industry experience, along with an excellent understanding of Canadian healthcare and the rehabilitation industry
  • Demonstrated ability to market to current and new customers
  • Effective at adapting to tight deadlines & changes in priorities
