Clinical Lead/Physiotherapist
Lifemark Bridlewood serves the Calgary community with services to treat a variety of conditions including sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, fractures, muscular aches and headaches. We employ a holistic approach to provide our patients quality care. Our facility includes seven treatment beds with a treadmill, stationary bike and weights, as well as two private massage rooms. We offer a range of treatment techniques including modalities (IFC, TENS, EMS, ultrasound), intramuscular stimulation (dry needling), sports and K-taping, and manual therapy.
The Clinical Lead must have a designation as a Physiotherapist ideally with a minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience. The successful candidate has a proven record of returning clients to work & maximizing their function regardless of the underlying cause (i.e. work-related accident, automobile accident or non-occupational injury). They have a strong aptitude for developing a team through effective communication, clinical mentorship and ensuring their team has regular access to educational opportunities. The ability to be proactive and provide a solutions-oriented approach for Lifemark’s customers is vital. The Clinical Leader will demonstrate and champion the Lifemark Health Patient Experience.

Some of the diverse responsibilities include:
- Review extension requests for WCB, MVA and LTD patients and assist clinical staff with caseload management skills
- Complete quality assurance reviews of clinical reports
- Maintain standards for communication (charts, letters, telephone) with customers & funders
- Participates in and organizes in-services for staff (internal & external as required)
- Promote and encourage other continuing education opportunities such as hosting courses or bringing in guest speakers for in-services
Professional Development:
- Demonstrate clinical leadership and expertise through mentorship and the management of professional development for clinical staff
- Provide mentorship of clinical staff as required
- Performs 1:1 monthly meetings with all clinical staff in collaboration with the Director
- Develops corrective action plan when performance issues are identified
- Reviews treatment plans for accuracy, clinical reasoning & program selection
- Assists with the recruitment and retention of clinical staff
- Assist in clinic marketing
