The Quality Improvement (QI) Consultant provides expertise and support to designated areas and staff regarding quality and safety in alignment with organizational priorities and needs in order to improve outcomes of care and services for patients, staff, and other clients.

The QI Consultant participates in the development, implementation, and monitoring of QI processes and projects including Accreditation. The QI Consultant works collaboratively with the Quality Improvement physician, Health Outcomes team members, management, staff, and physicians in their designated areas to create a shared culture and values in relation to how they work together to solve problems, utilize patient/client feedback, and contribute to a culture of quality and safety.

This position is the primary liaison between Health Outcomes and the designated areas in terms of accessing additional support and specialized expertise from other Health Outcomes members. This position supports teams engaged in regional and collaborative projects and addresses issues regarding methods, measurement, and test cycles.

Please Note: This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required.
