Langley Memorial Hospital Emergency Department is seeking an Emergency Room Physician to join our group of 14 ERPs to treat the 45,000+ patients per year who visit our department. Langley is a beautiful community located just 45 minutes away from downtown Vancouver and is one of the fastest growing communities in BC. Langley Memorial Hospital has an active ICU. We have internal medicine, neurology, general surgery, orthopaedics, urology, paediatrics, obstetrics, ENT, ophthalmology and psychiatry to support us. We have a CT scanner and full laboratory services.
All candidates are required to be CCFP(EM) FRCPC(EM) certified.
Our nursing support is excellent and we have a very collegial group. Remuneration is via fee for service and is in excess of $350,000 for a 12-14 shift month.
Langley Memorial Hospital is a 166 bed community hospital with 224 beds dedicated to extended care, offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, critical care, ambulatory care as well as 24/7 emergency services with 42,000 visits annually.
