Southern Health-Santé Sud and the Anesthetist Program at Bethesda Regional Health Centre and Hôpital Ste. Anne Hospital invite applications for an experienced Anesthetist to work as a casual locum commencing September 2016 or sooner. Bethesda Regional Health Centre and Hôpital Ste. Anne Hospital are community based hospitals which partner with local Medical Clinics to provide physician support services to the hospital and community.

This casual locum Family Physician Anesthetist position is part of a team of (3) three Anesthetists who share balanced call, equitable operating time, and a team approach to covering hospital obligations.  This position is located at Bethesda Regional Health Centre however provides services to Hôpital Ste. Anne Hospital, Manitoba.

Remuneration is derived from a Fee for Service Model.  Some travel and accomodation support may be provided by Southern Health-Santé Sud.

• Must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
• To provide coverage you must have current ACLS and PALS certification
• Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.
• Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums.
• Good work and attendance record.

Conditions of Employment:
• Requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, an all purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.
