We are seeking a special kinesiologist, one who has experience working with concussed clients and who would like to work with a team of other professionals. The Head Injury team includes a physician, a neuropsychologist, a clinic counselor, an occupational therapist, a vestibular therapist and a physiotherapist. In this role you will:

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, for clients in a head injury program
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis; attend and participate in weekly case conferences with the team
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients. Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge

Qualifications:

• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
• Registration with the appropriate provincial Kinesiology Association (required)
• One year of experience working with a head injured population
