Job Description
Medical Officer of Health (Porcupine Health Unit)
The Organization
The Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) is a public health unit funded by the Province of Ontario and local municipal governments. At the same time, PHU is also working to develop closer collaboration with the primary care sector, to influence behaviour change through increased use of motivational interviewing, and to increase awareness of the epidemiology of different population groups within the region.
