Job Summary
Overlooking the CN Tower, with it’s upscale modern design and team of elite Health Care Professionals, Infinity Health Centre is set to be at the forefront of Health Care in the GTA. We are currently looking for a Medical and Rehabilitation Receptionist. All candidates must exemplify consummate professionalism, friendliness, and strong communication skills representative of Infinity Health Centre.
Position Details : Permanent, Full-Time, Start ASAP
Clinic Hours : Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm. Flexible morning and afternoon shifts available.
Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Job Functions :
– Greet patients, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
– Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls as well as fax and email
– Scan documents and sort incoming mail
– Reception for all physicians and health care practitioners (chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, osteopath, and naturopath)
– Review and validate Health Cards
– Operate computer software to access electronic medical records and schedules
– Operate point of sale transaction terminal for accepting credit and debit payments
– Schedule patients for various treatments, laboratory tests, medical examinations, and consultations.
– Maintain familiarity with OHIP insured and uninsured services
– Ensure patient confidentiality
– Inform patients of service cost and guide them to appropriate resources for further information or assistance
– Maintain cleanliness of front desk area
– Strong emphasis on Marketing of all health care services within and outside Infinity Health Centre
Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications & Experience :
– University undergraduate education an asset
– Intermediate computer skills essential
– Ability to work independently and on a team
– Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
– Ability to solve problems and manage time
– Strong communication skills
– Fluent in the English language (verbal and written)
– Organizational skills and attention to detail is critical
– Excellent Customer service
– Familiarity with our health services offered (eg. Medical/Chiro/Physio/Massage etc) is an asset
