Acorn Family Health and Wellness Centre is a very busy, award winning, multidisciplinary private clinic looking for a caring and enthusiastic hands on approach physiotherapist. The ideal candidate for our team will be passionate and have a focus on the overall wellness of the patient. The candidate will be taking over the busy caseload of an experienced physiotherapist, with expertise in manual therapy, osteopathic-type technique, acupuncture and pelvic floor rehabilitation. We have an established patient base that is successfully increasing and requires the right person to take it over.
Our dynamic and passionate multidisciplinary team includes chiropractic, chiropody, massage therapy, reflexology, naturopathy, nutrition, acupuncture and physiotherapy. We are looking for an active individual who can bring a unique talent to our team. Our focus is on family wellness care, including newborns to young at heart and athletes of all levels and we are committed to providing exceptional clinical care to all we serve. The qualified individual must be engaging, client-centered and be willing to collaborate inter-professionally.
Requirements: -Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario-Strong leadership skills with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with an interdisciplinary team-Strong verbal and written skills-Demonstrates ongoing, continuing education-3-5 years clinical experience as a Registered Physiotherapist with diverse populations an asset-Acupuncture training an asset-Pilates-based exercise training an asset-self-motivated and enjoys working in a team-new grads are welcome
