Under the direction of the Clinical Therapy Supervisor, the Senior Physical Therapist consults, evaluates and provides professional physical and rehabilitative therapy to patients of all ages in their homes as prescribed by the physician. Treatments are carried out to restore function, prevent disability and/or decrease pain. The Physical Therapist is responsible for maintaining high standards for care as established by the profession and according to their level of knowledge and experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of five years recent clinical physical therapy experience, one year of which is in home care is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university required; Master’s preferred.
- Professional licensure as a PT in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
- CPR certification or obtained by completion of introductory period.
- Knowledgeable of the Professional Standards of Practice.
- Must be autonomous with excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to quickly establish rapport.
- Excellent computer, organizational and clinical skills.
