Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description:
Responsible for assistance in administering prescribed programs of physical therapy and assisting with patient evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association plus 3 to 12 months of experience.
  • Passage of a state licensing exam and CPR certification.
  • Able to stand and walk frequently; sit occasionally.
  • Able to lift/carry 0-20 frequently; 21-50 lbs occasionally.
  • Able to push/pull 0-35 lbs frequently; 36-75 lbs occasionally.
  • Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.
  • Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
The following education, experience, and/or certifications would be an asset, but are not required:
  • Aqua therapy experience.
