What is a Registered Physiotherapist’s role in GoodLife?

The Physiotherapist is responsible for generating revenue through physiotherapy services, and for providing on-going exceptional care to new and existing patients while working in a patient-centered care model with the existing Health Centre team.

Job Summary:
– Generate revenue through physiotherapy services
– Provide on-going exceptional care to new and existing patients
– Maintaining patient confidentiality, keep training and development up to date, maintain good boundaries between doctor and patient
– Complete all necessary clinic administration tasks
– Meet monthly Physiotherapy revenue goals
– Use all sales tools provided
– Follow up on outstanding and overdue accounts
– Provide appropriate treatment plans for patients based on diagnosis, short and long term goals, goal timeframe and preferences
– Evaluate and adjust patient treatment programs when necessary or explore treatment options with other health care disciplines
– Communicate effectively, positively and professionally with your patients
– Communicate effectively, positively and professionally with other health care disciplines, ensuring patient centered care
– Be punctual for appointments and follow proper cancellation procedures
– Complete all administration in accordance with company standards and deadlines
– Attend all required meetings
– Ensure all sales tools, systems, and resources available are implemented and updated
– Direct the clinic team; design and lead clinic meetings
– Maintain a high level of communication and teamwork with clinic team to ensure successful operations
– Meet with department heads to decide strategy and direction for departments
– Consistently handle member and patient concerns with professionalism
– Ensure ongoing clinic equipment and facility maintenance
– Ensure clinic cleanliness through White Glove Test and facility visit audits
– Complete weekly reporting as requested by National Manager Chiropractic Services
– Support and implement GoodLife programs and services
– Administer Health and Safety programs and policies
– Adhere to formal disciplinary procedures

Our Ideal Candidate:
– Canadian and Provincial Licensing
– Kinesiology/Physiotherapy; University Degree
– Certifications including but not limited to acupuncture, rehab, strength & conditioning and CPR
– Clinical experience an asset
– Promotion and marketing background
– Techniques including but not limited to diversified, active release and motion palpation
– Demonstrated leadership qualities
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong self motivation
– Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
– Proficiency in the use of computers for: Email, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher,PowerPoint, Generic PMPs
– Communicate effectively, positively, and professionally with clients
