Education:
Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):
Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination; Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Experience:
1 to less than 7 months
Work Setting:
Private practice
Area of Practice:
Sports therapy; Orthopedics; Manipulative therapy
Specific Skills:
Assess patients’ physical abilities; Administer evaluative tests and procedures; Plan physiotherapy programs; Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations; Maintain clinical and progress reports; Confer with other health professionals
Additional Skills:
Supervise technical and support staff
