This contracted position works in a team-based Primary Health Care setting in the City of Yorkton. The clinic is modern, well organized and fully equipped. The primary health care team consists of 5.6 FTE contracted physicians, 3 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Registered Nurse, a Chronic Disease Management Team, Mental Health Therapists, visiting pharmacist and clinic support staff. This position provides opportunity to practice primary care within an innovative, multi-disciplinary team setting. The successful candidate must have the capacity to assume care of an already established practice.

Relocation Assistance may be available. The successful applicant may qualify for the Rural and Regional Practice Establishment Grant Program, offered through the Saskatchewan Medical Association, which provides $25,000 to an eligible family physician that establishes a practice for a minimum of twenty-four months in a rural Saskatchewan community.
Sunrise Health Region requires a Primary Health Care Family Physician for the Health and Wellness Centre in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. The physician must hold full or provisional licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan and maintain membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
