Deep Physio was founded in 2012 by the husband and wife team Sam and Jordana Moxon. We moved from Manchester England where we were working in professional sport to Canada to persue our dream of opening a clinic that followed the same ethos as the profressional sports teams/athelets. Since then we have grown our team and moved locations 3 times! We Currently have five physiotherapists, a massage therapist, kinesiologists, personal trainers and yoga/pilates instructors. We are looking at recruiting another full time physio to meet the demands of our busy clinic. All physios are trained in SFMA, FMS, STOTT Rehab Pilates and Neurokinetic therapy and at Deep we beleive that all our clinicians should speak the same language and therefore will help you get certified in these above courses.
We believe in treating the body as a whole and use manual therapy, soft tissue manipulation, acupuncture, taping, clinical pilates and functional exercise prescription to achieve the clients goals. We have currently moved into our beautiful 6000 sq foot clinic that houses 6 treatment rooms, a yoga/pilates studio, and gym that we use for rehab/training and sports performance. We beleive at finding the driver of the problem, treating it and preventing re occurence with fucntional exercises and training . Do not be fooled by our location up north, we beleive that we are a state of the art clinic and all of our clincians that have come and worked for us have bettered themselves as clinicians. We are well known in our area for expert treatments and training.
