Qualifications:

Recognized baccalaureate degree or college equivalent in Physical Therapy from an accredited university/college
Licensed to practice in BC
CPR certification
Previous experience as a member of a multidisciplinary team and past clinical placement or related work experience working with third party referred clients (WSBC, LTD, ICBC) with a return to work focus of rehabilitation is considered an asset
Mentorship for new graduates

Responsibilities:

Provide an accurate, detailed physical assessment prior to the client’s entrance into the program.
Development of an individual physical therapy program for each client based on the clients needs, both from the physical assessment and from their personal goals.
Participation in multidisciplinary conferences and/or client-care planning.
Co-ordination of treatment regimes and programs with the client and the other members of the team.
Provision of reassessment and follow-up assessment with development of a plan for the client’s independent home program or further follow-up as required.
