REHAB ASSISTANT
JOB SUMMARY: Reports to the Coordinator of Rehab Services and responsible to the Occupational Therapists and the Physiotherapists who have assigned the functional tasks to be carried out with patients, implements rehabilitative treatments and programs, and assists therapists with monitoring a;nd evaluating patients’ progression. The Rehabilitation Assistant is part of a team and will teach, assist and supervise patients as well as performs delegated supplementary and routine tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training and Experience: Completion of Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to deal with others effectively Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position Ability to organize work Ability to operate related equipment Please apply in writing to Human Resource Services; this posting will remain open until successfully filled.
