TBI Health is one of New Zealand’s largest, integrated physiotherapy, vocational and community rehabilitation companies. Our national network of clinics provides a unique, customised spine rehabilitation programme to help people recovering from back or neck pain. We also offer general physiotherapy services including; sports injury management, post surgical rehabilitation and pain management programmes.
At our Palmerston North clinic you will work within the U-kinetics Centre in a vibrant, interdisciplinary setting with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists Psychologists. We specialise in the assessment and treatment of sports, spinal and musculoskeletal pain and injury.
All clinics are computerised and have fully equipped rehabilitation studios. TBI Health is accredited with HDANZ and holds rehabilitation contracts with ACC, third party insurers and private employer groups. In addition, many of our physiotherapists are affiliated with local and national sports teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessment and treatment of mechanical neck and back pain utilising internationally recognised methodology.
- Assessment and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal, vocational and sports related conditions.
- Working within a rehabilitation team to develop and implement rehabilitation strategies that ensure our clients return to optimal independence and employment.
- Mentoring and training support to team of health professionals

This is a varied and challenging role. Post-graduate qualifications are preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will have an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation and pain management along with a strong work ethic and excellent organisation and communication skills. The current role is for a full-time Senior Physiotherapist at our Palmerston North clinic. The details around specific hours can be discussed further with prospective candidates.
